Zubaidah Abu Bakar, affectionately known as Zubee Bakar, is a Mindset Coach and a Motivational Speaker. She is also a Corporate Trainer. Her mission? Helping aspiring women discover purpose, meaning and confidence to excel at work and in life through the Winning Mindset whilst enjoying great relationships. It is based on her own transformative journey.

Zubee’s transformative journey began at 16 when she faced dismissal from school (MRSM), leaving her feeling lost. At 21, with no guidance for her future, she found herself working as a stenographer at PETRONAS, a Fortune 500 corporation. Although the job was not quite her cup of tea, she found her calling – making meaningful contributions towards personal excellence. It saw her achieving her dream role as a PETRONAS Corporate Trainer at 45, teaching both locally and abroad.

In 2014, at the age of 52, Zubee embarked on a new chapter, leaving the Fortune 500 corporation for a more meaningful life. She founded Happy Mind Solutions (HMS), which reached a significant milestone in 2019, generating peak revenue of RM700k. HMS focuses on training and consultancy in personal development, catering to key clients in both corporate and government sectors.

Zubee’s talks and training sessions consistently receive high ratings, thanks to her engaging facilitation, particularly her debriefing and reflection activities. These activities prompt deep self-realization and conviction, helping her audience gain clarity on life priorities and find their calling to engage in meaningful tasks, amidst challenges. They will aim to strive for a fulfilling life with their loved ones while benefiting others, in a way that pleases God. Her training and speaking sessions are fun, interactive and effective, grounded in simple yet impactful methodologies, tools and life-proven strategies, ensuring high engagement and knowledge retention.

Among her many certifications, Zubee is an HRDF-certified Corporate Trainer, certified CTP Trainer (CIPD UK), NLP Coach (ABNLP USA) and MAPP career coach (USA).  Her commitment to growth is evident, as seen in her pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (TESL) at the age of 48. Even amidst the challenges posed by the recent pandemic and at the age of 60-ish, she embraces global online marketing, notably through TikTok, fueling her ongoing personal and professional development through the Winning Mindset.

With 31 years of corporate experience, 21 years in training and consultancy, and 10 years in entrepreneurship, Zubee is relatable, authentic, and unique in personal development. She champions the Winning Mindset – a fusion of Growth Mindset and Purpose-Driven Mindset. She is a firm advocate for continuous learning towards personal excellence in providing values to others, amidst challenges, driven by life’s ultimate purpose.

Outside coaching women, Zubee continues her corporate training endeavors. Above all, she finds joy in empowering aspiring women to become confident influencers, especially through social media, sharing meaningful life lessons in their own smart and unique way. The goal is to positively impact fellow women globally with purpose and dignity, fostering peace and harmony, as women are catalysts for change and agents of happiness. Viewing her journey from being a school dropout as a blessing, she hopes to leave behind a legacy that will hopefully please her Lord, Allah through Winning Mindset.
